Antibiotics and Bacterial Growth
Each of the three plates contains 4 different antibiotic impregnated disks. The relative position of each antibiotic is the same on each plate. Plate one has been swabbed with the bacterium, Staphylococcus aureus, plate two with Escherichia coli and plate three with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Note the zones of inhibition which show that Staphylococcus sp. is the most sensitive to the tested antibiotics while Pseudomonas sp. is the most resistant.
