Andrea Zanko, MS.
Ms. Andrea Zanko, Genetic Counselor from the University of San Francisco-Stanford Medical Center, received her masters of science degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in the areas of health and medical sciences - genetic counseling. She was awarded a bachelor of science and education from Boston University in Massachusetts. She is currently certified by the American Board of Medical Genetics, Diplomat in Genetic Counseling and the American Board of Genetic Counseling.
Her professional experiences include eighteen years of experience and employment with the University of California, San Francisco, in the department of pediatrics, genetics division. She has served as a Huntington Disease Clinic Coordinator and has worked in a variety of clinics located in Eureka and Modesto as well.
Ms. Zanko belongs to the National Society of Genetic Counselors, Inc., the American Society of Human Genetics, the American Board of medical Genetics and is a member of the Northern California Chapter of Huntington Disease Society of American Advisory Board and the US Huntington Disease Genetic Testing Group Advisory Board. She has numerous publications in the area of Niemann-Pick Disease and Huntington Disease.
