General Instructions to Students:
Using Salt Solutions to Understand Chemistry Concepts

This is a 4-part laboratory exercise in which the results and learning of each lab
are applied to what you do in the next lab. It is therefore extremely important
that you are present for all
the classroom and lab sections of this unit. A single lab report is required from
each lab group but it is expected that each member of the group contribute equally
to the total effort. Each
of the 4 labs must be written up individually and include the experimental question,
a hypothesis, a short description of your test of the hypothesis, a materials and
procedure section, a data section and an analysis/conclusion section. The first
three labs are to be typed.
