For approximately $250 they were fitted with Voltagle Input Unit that are capable of using probes/sensors from the Vernier company. Probes /sensors that my science dept. already had: dissolved oxygen, EKG, Light, magnetic field, force gauges, photogates, heart rate monitors, pH, temperature, etc. They can also use the computers as graphing programs to manipulate the data collected with the probes /sensors.
