When the "River of Venom" science mystery was first put online, in 1997, we held an online contest to see who could solve the mystery.

Our prizewinners were Patrizia Zucaro (individual winner) and Mr. Webb's Bio II Class, Period 1 (classroom winner). They were chosen at random from the correct entries received.
