Kristine Belton

Hi everyone. My name is Kristine Belton and I'm writing this from Long Island, NY although I lived in San Diego for about 6 months a few years ago. I graduated from the State University of New York College at Fredonia in 1990 with a degree in Recombinant Gene Technology and am now in the process of applying to graduate schools to become a genetic counselor. I hope to eventually be able to return to California to pursue that career path.

I guess one of my more unusual qualities is my desire to learn. I will take a class or read a book on just about anything. I always want to know more. I also tend to befriend people who have interests that are nothing like mine, because one of the best ways to learn about something is to listen to people who have enthusiasm and passion for what they are talking about. I know that's true of me-whether I'm talking about genetics, tennis, blond men, Star Trek or anything else that I truly love. I look forward to learning more about all of you throughout this class.
