Crickets As Thermometers
You are now almost ready to view your graph.
Your data is entered on a data table, and the plotting function
has been set so that L1 and L2 will be graphed on the X and Y
axes respectively. But you need to make sure that your axes are
scaled properly to fit your points.
- Scale your axes
- Press ZOOM, 9.
- A graph of the six points now appears on the screen. It should
appear to be a linear (straight line) function.
- Check the coordinates on your graph.
- Press TRACE. Use the right arrow keys to move to the
next point. At the bottom of the screen, you will see each temperature
and its corresponding number of chirps.
