Setting Up Your Plot

1. Press 2nd STAT PLOT. A menu appears.
2. Choose plot 1. The screen shows Plot1.
3. The following selections should be highlighted by moving the cursor to the appropriate item and pressing ENTER.
   • On
   • Type: scattergram for the first graph
   • X lists:L1 (On the TI83 type: 2nd L1)
   • Y list:L2 (On the TI83 type: 2nd L2)
   • Mark: square-first choice
4. Press 2nd STAT PLOT. A menu appears.
5. PLOT 1 should now be on. Make sure plots 2 and 3 are off. If either one is on, enter into it, move the cursor to the off position and press ENTER.
