Procedure - Find the Rate of Transpiration
12. Find the rate of transpiration for your plant. To do this:
- Choose Analyze Data A from the Analyze menu. A check mark
should appear on the left side of the menu choice (Analyze Data
A).
- Highlight the first linear portion of the graph. This is the
area you will use for the curve fit. Your highlight might look
similar to that in Figure 2.
- Choose Fit from the Analyze menu. Click on the Linear button.
Click on the Try Fit button.
- Click on the Results button and read the value of the slope,

1.
13. Choose Cancel Fit to exit the curve fit dialog window.
