This site features more than 100 health careers in 21 different health career categories and mentions many other related careers.

    The Bureau of Labor Statistics' Occupations on this site are categorized according to interests and hobbies common among students. To help students continue their career exploration, each occupational description on the kids' site links to related information in the BLS Occupational Outlook Handbook.

  • Careers in Health Care
    The American Medical Association's Health Care Careers Directory gives information about health care careers and education programs in more than 80 fields. These one page overviews are available as downloadable pdf files.

  • The Fun Works—for careers you never knew existed
    Designed for students ages 11-15 or in grades 6-9, this interactive site encourages students to explore ways to link what interests them to future careers. Created by Education Development Center with funding from the National Science Foundation

    HCC connects students to internships, mentors, leadership development, professional networks and web accessible information and contacts on healthcare management careers and educational options.

  • Healthcare Occupations
    This site has been developed and maintained by the Wisconsin Area Healthcare Education Center. Information for career descriptions has been compiled from various sources, including various academic programs, professional organizations, and the "Occupational Outlook Handbook 2000-2001" (U.S. Department of Labor).
