My Activity

We recently completed a study for the Large Animal Research Station at the University of Alaska . The main thrust was to catalog the ciliated protozoa found in the reindeer and muskox rumen chamber. Two interactive CD-ROM presentation about 1. the ciliates and 2. muskoxen & caribou natural history were produced.(See www.mosquitonet.com/~skog) Our current project is tracking a wolf via satellite telemetry in conjunction with ADF&G and developing a population model of the pack. We'll also be comparing actual land vegetation with Landsat projections using GLOBE protocols.
