For the past 30 years, I've taught high school biology along with an array of other sciences. One of my goals has been to involve students in scientific writing and research. To fund this, I have turned to grant writing and begging. Currently I am Region II Coordinator for NABT, Director at Large for Biology for the Science Teachers Association of New York State, and a member of the board of the New York Health, Safety, and Research Alliance. I have also been very involved in the Cornell Institute for Biology Teachers and the New York Biology Mentor Network. Presently I am interested in developing new lab activities and demonstrations that involved arthropods or annelids.
